As the spirit replied in music, the Lans in the room started frowning slightly, clearly confused.
’Two of you have committed wrongdoing’,” the junior said, his concern evident. “What wrongdoing?”
The notes turned even sharper, though the response was short. Immediately, Wei Wuxian could tell there was something off about it. Lan Zhan stiffened, and the kids’ eyes widened, their faces reddening. Lan Sizhui, who was blushing furiously, played the same notes again, as if making sure he’d heard right.

trope_bingo fill for my "Everyone Thinks We're a Couple" square! Thank you to belovedmuerto for help with the titles! I also apologize for typos and the fact that no boyfriends come in this fic.abyss_valkyriedragongirlgdragongirlggossgossdrawesome's Drawtober 2020 Challenge. The prompt was Overgrown. This was painted with a chinese calligraphy brush and ink stick. And then I added a colour tint in Photoshop. Both versions are included here. 泽 has multiple meanings. it’s evident just in the two translations that are listed: “Brilliance Overgrowth Lord” and “Lord of Munificent Waters”...usually, 芜, as it is meant here, refers to land that is out of human cultivation, or wild, unchecked plant growth.Anyway, reading this inspired the following er, imaginative painting. I thought Lan Xichen's robes would make a cool sort of cascading waterfall, so this was my attempt to create a forested, mountainous landscape with ink. :)
