The Xicheng event XichengStorm has just concluded (it ran 8th - 11th November) and I wrote a Xicheng Guardian (TV) fusion! Starring Jiang Cheng as Zhao Yunlan, Lan Huan as Shen Wei, and Zewu-Jun as Heipaoshi.

Knowledge of Guardian is helpful but hopefully not essential to understanding the series! Also I canon diverge from Guardian in the last fic and can promise you a happy ending ♥

SERIES: Heaven and earth, without limit, without end

Day 1: Never let go (T, 2203 words)
He hasn't used a scrap of dark energy, all his powers quiescent – but for a moment it feels like time has simply stopped, because framed in the window is a beloved face that Lan Huan hasn't seen for ten thousand years.

Day 2: A little longer (T, 1790 words)
It seems improbable that Jiang Wanyin hasn't figured it out.

Day 3: Ten thousand years (T, 3890 words)
Jiang Cheng hadn't expected this-
The Hallows had activated, yanking him into a portal – and then literally dropped him ten thousand years in the past.

Day 4: No regrets (M, 3093 words)
Lan Huan hadn't expected to be betrayed.

For Xicheng fans, xichengclipse is on this week and I've written a story for Day 1. The prompts were "Strangers" and "Ex-Lovers" and I couldn't stop thinking about how to go about incorporating both of them into one story - how two people could be both strangers and ex-lovers. In the end, I came up with this. If it strikes your fancy then I hope you enjoy! ♥

Summary: Jiang Cheng has never been close to Lan Xichen, but he's well versed with the way the other man smiles – gentle, yes; welcoming, friendly, always sincere – but never familiar.

Lan Xichen smiles now, at Jiang Cheng, and his whole face lights up. He smiles at Jiang Cheng with none of his usual polite distance; he smiles like Jiang Cheng is his entire world.

And that's the first time Jiang Cheng meets that Lan Xichen.
