One of the great missed opportunities of canon, I think, is how little interaction we get between Jiang Yanli and Lan Wangji, because their interactions feel like such a highlight, to me, and the potential shape of their friendship makes me want. I have a strong preference for drama-based work, but as long as it's something I can follow having only seen the drama, I won't turn work down based on other canons or fusions.
