A weird thought ...

theuntamed_mdzs... came into my head as I watched an episodeof The Untamedlast night. I think I might want to be talked out of it, but I'm not sure.
Prior to his death, although Wei WuXian is close friends with Lan Zhan, he never appeared to think their relationship was anything beyond that. He talked about girls he found attractive, and teased Lan Zhan about liking MianMian, generally assuming that he and Lan Zhan were both straight and would eventually take wives. Lan Zhan showed a romantic interest in Wei WuXian from fairly early on, but Wei WuXian remained oblivious.
However, when Wei WuXian was brought back to life by Mo Xuanyu, things started to change. Wei WuXian started noticing the things that Lan Zhan did for him. At one point he even said that he never really took notice of them before but now he did. His relationship with Lan Zhan was still a strong friendship, but it took on another dimension.
So my weird thought was this: was some of Mo Xuanyu's soul transferred to Wei WuXian along with his body? Did Mo Xuanyu's orientation affect Wei WuXian and, if so, in what way? Did it completely change Wei WuXian's sexual preferences? Or was it just that it opened his eyes to Lan Zhan's true feelings, and to the possibility of a sexual relationship between them? If someone else had brought Wei WuXian back, might he and Lan Zhan never have got together?
(FWIW, until now, I've always assumed that Wei WuXian was bi.)
