Xianxia Dressing is an open roleplay dressing room with a setting common to historical Chinese fantasy stories (wuxia, xianxia, historical drama, etc.)

Dressing rooms derive their name from the idea of roleplaying characters in a similar way to trying out clothing at the store: it's easy to experiment with new things to see if they suit you, without any obligation to continue if they don’t! The open-ended nature is similar to a creative sandbox, designed so people with a common interest can try out playing complimentary characters in a casual, low-pressure setting.

We post new events twice a month that people are free to play with in any way that they please. Join in by reaching out to others or initiating with your own fun ideas! The goal is to provide a common setting that’s flexible to allow roleplayers to connect with each other, helping each other build off what each individual brings to the table.

If you haven’t roleplayed in this sort of environment before and need some guidance on where to start, the mods Kim (wallscrolls) and Gee (cultivatingsock) will gladly help you and show you the ropes. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions whatsoever!
