fandomtrees . Both are canon compliant with CQL and are set post-canon.

Summary: On his way to visit another sect, Lan Qiren happens upon Wei Wuxian in a village that has had a string of gruesome deaths. They decide to investigate.

a) Wei Wuxian perhaps isn’t as bad as he always thought
b) Wei Wuxian living in the Cloud Recesses might not be so awful if it means his nephew stops pining

Jin Ling huffed and then took a bundle of papers out of his sleeve.
“These,” he said, holding the papers up, “are notes taken by the Yiling Laozu.”
“Whoaa,” Lan Jingyi said.

Jin Ling shows the other Juniors some of Wei Wuxian’s notes that were among Jin Guangyao’s secret stash. They tell about the creation of the Ghost General. Kind of.
